well i just replaced my air/smog pump and now the pos wont start.... Now, in order to put the new pump on i removed the air filter port and the big hose so i would have room to put it in... well i pulled out that electronic plug looking thing, i guess the 02 sensor... after finishing up and trying to start the car it acted flooded so i did the easy meathod... not even a sputter... My question is, would that sensor thing have anything to do with my car not starting?

 

if what your talking about is the mass air flow sensor then yes that would affect the starting.......

w00t got her to start... two metal wires were touching each other in the sensor.. gah i swear the smallest thing will make these cars **** up...
