i dont know whats wrong with my 87 TII!! please help cause its my DD :(

so my rx7 has been experiancing this problem on the interstate around 60-80 mph where the motor will shut off, the wideband will go insane lean. i push on the gas, nothing (except the boost gauge goes from -30 to 0), i keep pushin, it back fires a **** ton, then it goes back to normal. usually only did this once.

today on the way to work, it did it twice, once on the interstate, then once on dodge doin about 40.

then on the way home around i680 and westcenter, it does it, except this time it doesnt kick back on for ALONG TIME, and the wideband goes into the yellow and the green light isnt blinking anymore. it FINALLY kicks back on, and i limp it to 120th and L, where it does it again.

this time, when my flashers are on, the wideband goes rich/lean in rythem with the flashers, and the car doesnt respond to anything except cranking and the ocassional backfire.

SOOO, anyone have any suggestions?

car is megasquirted btw.
