I just picked up my rx7 from the guy who rebuild my motor and it does not want to rev over 2 to 3000 rpm feels like there is a bad spark plug wire or bad fuel filter it sputter's , the guy told me it was my fuel pump I ran out of money so i had to bring my car home could not afford to leave it there any info would help. thanks.

You know, the last car I've seen do this had a clogged fuel filter. Start there first. At the very least if that ain't it you have some proper routine maintenance performed.

If your mechanic said it was the fuel pump, I would start from there. I have a Walbro 255 fuel pump I could sell you. $50 shipped with the sock.
Before you go buying things, pull your fuel pump and look at the sock at the bottom of the pump, if its all dirty and clogged try replacing the sock. If the pump itself is failing, then buy a new one. A new fuel filter wouldn't hurt either, they're about $10.

Also, if you just had your motor rebuilt, you really shouldn't be bringing it over 3k rpm. I think the limit is 4k rpm for the break in period but to be safe, I wouldn't drive it over 3000rpm.
