I Broke Something....

I was autocrossing today and something finally snapped... now when ever there is a weightshift there is a clunking sound... I'm going to put it up on the lift later in the week... what usually snaps and where should I look for it?

Thanks,
Rob

From your vague description I'd say that klubitz is fluxored.

Any more details? Like where the noise is coming from? That'd be a good start...

I'm going to first say check all of your lug nuts. It's possible that a stud shered off, it happened to me under NORMAL driving. Otherwise, I'd say it's your goddammer.

sorry... I should have included more info.. its a 89 gtu... the sound seems like it is comming from the passengers side front... but the back end feels loose too. The clunk happens under moderate to hard cornering and under hard braking.

probably a broken stablizer link. The S5 ones are plastic and break easy.

Coulb also be a bad shock, but you would hear the clunk going over bumps as well as cornering.
