I did it with the video .. its not really that hard at all, but the tape does help. Its should be no problem, take your time and do things right.. if you have questions ask them. thats my only sugestions.

ahh, AND take pictures of the vacuum lines BEFORE you start

Reading a thread like this gives me a feeling like i could do it also, from what i have read, hurd and after browsing the forum for these months, it dont seem that hard at all, if u can rebuild a lawnmower, i think u will be all set with a wankle, i have no experince, but from what i hear, its not to hard

A friend of mine with 0 experience rebuilding any motor (to my knowledge, i coudl be wrong) is planning on buying 2 heavy SP'ed rotor housings and building his own motor this winter, if he does it w/o a hictch ill probly take a stab at it also

I dont think you're a moron...I would already be doing it myself...but I'mma do it for my senior project (next year) that way I'll be getting some school credit for it as well

Plus I figure if I've gotta do a semester long project, might as well be on something I want to do

smoke: You're car's going to be running backwards, shooting exhaust through the intake and breathing through the tailpipe! You're a flamin postwhore, like you could even find the socket used to get the flywheel off! (god I love being mean!) Can you guess which I voted for!?

I am in a similar situation. I've got all winter to rebuild it and am fairly confident I can do it. I will buy the video and go real slow and ask lots of questions and I think it will work out (knock on wood).

I did it without the video! HAH! I only ruined a set of oil rings in the process and had to tear it apart all over again!
