Hyper voltage system
I caught this in an issue of modified mag. its a hyper voltage sytem thats said to improve torque and throttle response. I was wondering if any body has used this sytem or is it a waste of money?

no idea what it is. probably just a big capacitor.
I doubt it does anything.

It's a bit of bullshit advertising.
The item cannot improve power, but it does RESTORE loss power from grounding problems.
As with the other thread, it's a waste of money as a few lengths of wire and a bunch of connectors does the same thing for a lot less money.

Did you not see the "power conditioner" all the Z guys were duped on? A 30 AMP fuse covered in foil and encased in potting compound: COST $300, A lot of people lost their *** on that scam

While there are some really good voltage conditioners available (like Jacobs Accuvolt), that one looks dodgy for several reasons. They don't explain what it does or how it does it (only the claimed "results"), all the dyno graphs have the botom of the scale cut off (makes the improvement look bigger than it is), it was tested on a Honda (nothing wrong with Hondas, but it indicates the market it's aimed at), it comes in a range of colours (again showing the market it's aimed at). I'd definitely look for independant proof of those claims, expecially considering the cost.

Jason thats very true about the market thing - those honda boys (nothing wrong with hondas - its the kids that drive them give em a bad name) will believe anything lol. Anyway I was thinking at first maybe its an ignition system when I saw the picture of the box - yea I know it says voltage system but I just woke up but then I read on and its bullshit. I wonder if people buy these things (Im sure they do)!
