I'm thinking if I measure out my IC and then take the crash bar, find middle, mark out IC and how deep into it is it, I could use a zip wheel to cut it out?

I'd mount it sandwiched with the radiator... but you can do whatever you want.

A zip wheel, cuttoff grinder, whatever you want to call it, will work to trim that bar as needed. If you find that you pretty much can't use it, I'd see if some one can weld you up a thin bar out of steel. Just for piece of mind. Rolling around with no bumper just doesn't seem like a good idea.

Especially since a friend of mine who is a prison guard tells me how when some of the mates get out, they slam the brakes in their car and make some one rear end them so they get a check from insurance. Here in gay Rhode Island, it doesn't matter who's fault it is. If you rear end some one, it's your fault %100. My brother has gotten fucked because of it. Guy swerved from low speed lane of oncoming traffic back into high speed lane because he didn't look before trying to turn. Of course my brother hit him. My brothers fault. Retarded.

Yea, as I found out last night on each side of that bar there are two studs, only one of them fit, the IC's in the way of the inner two, so I'll see what I can draw up and fab for a crash bar. And here in Alberta it's the same thing, no matter what the story is. You rear end someone it's your fault. Really stupid cause people could screw you over that way

So once again I am revamping this from the dead for some advice. So I have it mounted. Well figured out where I want it mounted, I've only test fit the pipes, haven't cut any holes, supports or bumpers yet to make sure this is the right way. Well the best choice, given what I got, what do you guys think? Good setup or could I make it better? And I'm probably going to have to cut the crap out of my bumper huh?

I already gave my advice. If you are going to mount it like that, be sure that has proper mounting brackets to support it, you have a bumper (crash bar), and the holes you cut will not wear out the pipes due to rubbing. Other than that, I don't know what type of answer you are looking for.

Thanks again man, I'm just still not 100% if this is the way I'm going to want to mount it but after looking at the car and what I have with this IC I think I'm going to.

Well since this thread has been bumped... Anyone have ANY fmic pictures? Love to see them guys!
