I think the nicest **** for the FC is the leather Mazdaspeed piece. Dimpled on the back. You can't see it in the picture but the word Mazdaspeed is embossed into the leather vertically on the front. It's a nice simple design, very Miataish but not so dainty. It's a direct screw on (at least on my S5 it was) and is weighted.

hhmmmm....i was wondering where can i get shift boots that look like that...i dun realli like tha stock hard leather one....i like soft leather ones like the ones on the rx8

I have a neon, well more neon wire, leather rapped **** by optix.. its a great fit and sits almost and 1 1/4" lower. I like it alot better than the stock one... btw anyone want a stock shift ****?

 

I have a mazdatrix short shifter and my stock s4 shiftknob won't fit.

 

Did you order the 84-88 shifter or the 89-92? I'm getting one for my '88, just curious if my **** will fit correctly also.

i had an '8 shift **** on my old fc, payed 40 shipped for it off ebay, it was rather large and stuck up way to high
