how well do RB pre-silencer's work with single out exhausts?

how well do RB pre-silencer's work with single out exhausts?
I have a corksport exhaust system and i knew it was going to be loud but i am wondering how much louder it will get after headers? would a pre-silencer make a good difference in quieting it down even if i don't have a RB dual exhaust? the car is a 91 coupe (na)

we used to use the turbo back/rev2 presilencer http://www.racingbeat.com/RX7-1986-1...ms/16425P.html and it works really well. even on the Na.
the smaller ones, like the http://www.racingbeat.com/RX7-1986-1...nts/16405.html this one, change the note more than the volume.
the universal ones are supposed to work well too, but i haven't done one, so i dunno

well im more interested in lowering the volume a little if that is at all possible on my 91 coupe na. im kind of surprised the turbo ii presilencer works on na's, im assuming there is not an NA presilencer of the same design and affect on volume?
