Never seen one myself. But....this site http://www.dpmotorsport.com/hks/page...ccessories.htm describes it as a plug in and play. So it seems to me that all you do is disconnect the plugs from the f-con and then just reattach the factory plugs to the ecu. Seems that way anyway. If your interested in selling it at a very low price, let me know.

the fcon plugs in between the stock ecu and the engine wiring harness, so you need to disconnect that and mail it too

Everything is right about the 9fd3s post except he got he address wrong, wrong, wrong. Do remember the part about dirt cheap low price.
By the way, keep the fcd on the car, but you already knew that.

If installed using the "F-CON harness adapter"...
Starting from the ECU, unplug the 3 yellow harness connecters. Following the wires down(approx 6 inches) there will be a single, large yellow connector. Attached to this will be 3 more yellow connecters which is your original harness. Remove the short adapter harness and plug the original 3 harness connecters back into the ECU.

If the wire colors are both brown/red, they go to the boost/pressure sensor. If that is not the color, what is the color??? That was brown wire with a red stripe. What year car is this on????? The above was for a 86-88.

Time for choritsu-shi to pipe in. If wer'e talking about one wire that is brown/red and the other black, and they are cut in two, you'd want to splice back together the brown/red to the brown/red and the black to the black. You sure don't want to put the brown/red to the black. Disaster if you do.
So am I confusing things??? The way I see it you must have one brown/red wire that is cut in two pieces and one black cut in two pieces, so its black to black and brown/red to brown/red.
The black sounds like a ground and the brown/red is the output of the boost/pressure sensor to the ECU. Again you sure don't wanna connect those two together.

Those look like after market wires. Not factory. I'd bet one is a switch source of 12v and the other a ground. I think I could prove it with a meter by checking each wire with the key on and off. Sorry, no real help here. If those two wires are going to the FCON's piggy back harness, and not to the factory harness, I'd be tempted to cut them and cap each end with a piece of shrink tubing. No way you want to connect them together. It looks from the picture that they are headed to the drivers side of the car, probably the fuse box area. You might look.
The picture shows you have the ECU connected back up. Thats good.
I've been doing a search on this forum for *FCON AND INSTRUCTIONS* and had several hits but no instructions.

This http://www.tdi-plc.com/Technical%20PFC%20FCON.html indicates there should have been a boost sensor installed in the engine bay with a three wire harness going back into the passengers compartment and connecting to the FCON. Are there three wires going to the FCON harness instead of just two>>>>??

It probably is his turbo timer. I suggest tracing the wires to it to make sure. Then find out what they are for, and splice them into the proper wires in the wiring harness.
