you could just cut the harness and go to radioshack and get a large clip conector (12 wire or more i think) and then the next time you can just unplug it, thats what i did

Don't cut, it takes like 20 minutes to remove all the connectors and move the **** from the ECU.

Easy as hell, but a bitch to remove...

Unplug all connectors, remove intake, (because it goes under) and losen it up until you reach the firewall. Now the fun starts. You have 3 remaining plugs under the dash, right before the firewall, 2 are easy, but 1 is a real bltch. So remover carpet, protective oan, unplug these connectors and unbolt ECU to make it easier. But be really gentle, do not forget that your harness is atleast 20 years old, you dont want any cracked wires.

LOL^

I recently removed my engine harness from my engine. Wasn't that hard. Be sure to undo every connector and remove parts that are in the way. Do NOT start ripping wires out... lol - It can be somewhat frusterating.

lol.. FD guys can make fun all they want, but a lot of them are just as guilty. at the end of the day i came up with one of many solutions to this problem, go figure it was an FD guys thread i read that gave me the idea. If it works effectively that's all that matters. The next time i go to pull my engine all i have is 2 a master plugs to pull at the firewall. I don't see whats wrong with not beating around the bush? just unplug it and be done with it.
