How to remove the convertible wheel cap?

Yeah yeah, stupid question, I know. I read the manual; I am supposed to have some kind of tool that I can twist the things off with, but that tool is no longer with my car. How do I remove the center cap on the BBS 'vert wheels?! I cant get them to turn by hand, and I don't have a socket large enough to fit that bolt-shaped cap. I searched for an answer here but came up dry. Augh

Two hands! Man if they are that tight big *** pliers or something. Oil filter thingy maybe might fit. Improvise.

Trying to use a pair of pliers will cut the plastic. And trying to take them off in the pouring rain - with slippery hands may be much harder than you can imagine.

You can buy the tool at the BMW dealership for far less than Mazda's price.

But if you have a rubber strap wrench, that works just as well.

Yeah, I figured out the strap wrench yesterday. I can't believe I didn't think of it sooner.
