I have a 1990 GTU with 160K mileage on it and have the car about a year. I have not change the power steering fluid, but its smooth when I drive but when I park the steering wheel gets a little haevy. anyway how do I know when do I need to add more. if needed what brand, then I'll go to Kragen or autozone to pick it up.

its a closed system, unless its leaking you should never need to add any.
