How much would you pay for an 88 TII with a bad turbo, the motor disassembled down to the housing, body body and interior in good shape?

Actually... If you can look at the internals and see if they are useable... its worth a little more than a car with a blown motor in the car, cause you don't know how F'd up it is!!!

If the engine parts are good, the car is good and it just needs a rebuild and a turbo... I'd go 1000-1500..

If you can't look inside the motor... 500-750

Get it as cheap as you can, the more money you save, the more you can spend on it in the long run. Yearsofdecay raises a good point. If the motor is disassembled, you can check out the internals and check the wear to see how useable each piece is. I would offer $700-1000, but if you can get it for less, then go for it.
