my question though is how much are you willing to pay for one. so is $290 a good price for this unit?

Ive seen/heard of people buying used units for about $200. However, these used units were supposedly in like new condition. If you look around for a little while, a good deal will present itself.

I would pay the $290 just for the assurance of having a warranty... I have seen used "JDM" units go on ebay for $300+. I'll pm you the website.

I got it brand new for 200usd off partstrader. harness uncut. it was missing the stand though... but I didn't need it anyways.
