how much are they worth?
I was thinking of selling my 1990 5spd convertible RX-7. It has 165000 km. and is in completely stock and original shape. It has been garage kept since new and has never seen a frosty day in it's life ( stored from oct. to may every year). There is absolutely no rust and i still have all the accessories it came with from the bra to the car cover. I was wondering appproximately how much they are selling for theese days
Thanks

This may seem very american of me but how many miles exacly is 165?
Hold on to it for another 3 years and it will be a "collector"!! Than you can ask for twice as much. heh
Seriously though, beings as it is still on its stock engine. Only a person who doesn't know about the life expectancies of the 13B would give you full price. Check out autotrader.com or somewhere like that to see what they are going for in your area. I personally would pay about 2500-3500 depending on the shape, (which it sounds is very nice) and the color. Don't sell it though, i still miss mine..

thats 102k miles,
and radialGT your completely wrong, thats pretty decent miles considering i bought mine with 140k and it runs pulls strong everyday.
convertibles are less desirable than hard tops because they weigh a bit more and aren't quite as sporty. most likely you can get between 2k-3k for this car

Unfortunately though most car prices are going up these days, not just muscle cars and the sort. I bet he could ask $500-$1000 more and get it, depending on what it actually looks like. There's a car lot where I live asking $7000 (I think, maybe more) for a clean 91 vert with around 120k miles. It's not there now...

Its worth 7000$ atleast if its in the shape that you say it is. I've seen many around 10000$ no ****. They are as rare as pope **** here. Only 27 were sold in canada that year. I know, we checked for my cousin. He bought one....in Phily.
Check auto hebdo, weekly. You'll see. Right now there is a crappy one selling for 4500$.

People are driving up the prices of FCs to stupid amounts because they've spent time and MONEY modding them. Look in the for sale section, it's horrendous. I've seen cars going for over 10k. NO FC is worth more than 6k IMO. A bone stock original FC is worth decent money i'd say (almost any car is worth more unmodified).
