How much rwhp do I have fuel for?

Take a look at my mods. I was wondering how much rwhp I can get out of my current fuel system. Thanks.

with stock primaries? 275 rwhp max. 4 720's are good for 300 rwhp barely.

4x720 maxed out 100% duty cycle does 400hp, someone on the other boards did this think his name is BDC.
550 and 720cc should be good for 300hp flywheel ~250hp@wheels

the stock fuel system is safely adequate for stock hp. Not much more.

I found a fuel calculator online. It just depends what duty rate your injectors are running I guess. Stock setup with the duty rate raised to 80% is supposed to be good for 253 to the flywheel. With the 720s it says its good for 293 to the flywheel. It says 330 to the flywheel for 4 720s. I dunno though, because I've been told different and I'm sure this calculator is very *safe* to say the least. Guess I'll get on a dyno and find out myself.

it might be good for 250rwhp, but it sure as hell ain't safe, going above stock boost (FCD) means the ecu leans out the fuel.

I like it safe

Yeah...Ive heard the stock 550's are good for 250whp too.

Dunno though for sure. Everyone seems to have a different answer on this.

I need to know too. I am going to just run my 720s in my secondaries for a little bit and get it on a dyno and see what happens.

probably safe for 300rwhp or so..

BDC put down 417RWHP with 4x720 but that was at 100% duty which is bad. and higher fuel presure I think.

100% duty cycle? that won't last long. 85 percent is the maximum you should run for efficient power. Over that and you will overwork the injectors, and they will burn up (not fire-burn, but wear-burn). Plus, I think you need stand-alone or reprograming of your ecu to up the duty cycle. Certainly can't do it on a piggy back ecu. You should be careful Chris. I wouldn't cross 280rwhp without increasing the size of your prims.

I guess I'm going to be the guniea pig and find out for sure how far you can go with 720 sec. I'll let you know the dyno results.

Oh Kanaida:

Do you have any kind of EMS or fuel computer? What about a bigger turbo? Because you have a god aweful amount of fuel, lol. Just wondering how your controlling it all. I'm thinking about a microtech soon.

There's been a little debate about this. I could have sworn that Ted said he was seeing 90 percent duty cycle for short runs with his car. My biggest fear with the stock primaries is with a hybrid turbo in 4th or 5th gear. Floor it and you can reach peak boost well beofer the secondaries kick in on the stock computer. The longer I stick around with my rx7 the more I start to hate the junk stock ecu.
