How much power increase on...

A street ported motor? I'm considering getting a 91 engine from Mr. Landers....But I also am going to be atkins super charging it in the future too.

Would it be a better Idea to go with one or the other instead of both? I've been told street ports can get really noisy. I don't wan't it to be incredibly loud and have next to no gas milage.

Another question I have is that the super charger looks kinda big. Would you need to do some hood modifications?

How much power depends on the size of the ports. But roughly, on a decent sized streetport on an N/A, ~20HP is a good number to go with. Streetports shouldnt be much louder than a stock port, unless the exhaust diffusers have been removed. A streetport done in moderation should behave almost like a stock engine, only with more power. But this is something to talk to your engine builder about. As for the clearance of the Camden kit, it looks to me like it will fit under the hood, but that would be a question for you to ask them yourself... I was highly dissapointed in the outlook of that system, which is why I decided to go turbo, instead of my original plan of the S/C.... It will be cheaper and make more power.

I said I was dissapointed in the projected output of the system. Granted, it has not hit production yet, but Ive kept in contact with camden about the supercharger over the course of the past few months, and the fact that they told me that it made 180RWHP with a streetport and full exhaust, made me a little weary. Granted this is just a pre-production test model, but for an estimated cost of close to $3k, and power levels that probably wont satisfy me ,I just went turbo.. I would of rather had the S/C, just because I like the way the power delivery is compared to a turbo, but it just wasnt making sense financially. I am doing my complete T2 swap with rebuild, streetport, upgraded turbo, FMIC, etc..for probably about the same price, if not a tad less..
