How much gas can my tank hold?
I read here, and in my manual that the fuel capacity for my car is 16 gallons. I checked the manual to see if there was a reserve and I couldn't find anything, maybe I didn't look hard enough.
I read a couple times that it could be 18 gallons, but more often than not I've read 16.
I couldn't get to a gas station right away and the car took 16.2 gallons on this last fill up.
Anybody know? It's an '89 convertible.

Part of the reason why I was confused is because I really don't think the '90 GTU I had was the same way, but of course that was a while ago and I could easily be wrong. That extends my range to, uh....
444 miles until I'm totally out of gas.
24.XX mpg on the highway, tested many times. Thanks man.

And for the record, I get about 20 mpg on a full tank. If it's strictly highway, I can stretch it to about 23 mpg.
