How much is this car worth?

A guy I know has an 89 Rx7 GTUs with 40K miles in mint condition. Car looks brand new with no issues or mods. What is it worth on the street?

It's worth is subjective, it's value on the other hand....

Just a random guess here but maybe in the 4k price range

IF I owned it I would take no less then 7K. But each seller is diffrent. IF you could pick it up for 4k it would be a steal.

A lot.

More specifically, I'd say about 5 to 6k. You could always try to talk him down!...

To the right buyer maybe 5K, he would be lucky to pull 4K. What did he tell you it was worth 20K??

"Mint" means in unused condition with no defects and no wear. It is impossible for a car to have 40,000 miles and be in mint condition.

You can look up the average value of the car at this link:

It really depends on the buyer in this situation. Some people go absolutely crazy over the GTUs due to their production numbers; I'm not one of these people, though. It does have low mileage, though. I can see it going for 4-6k if it looks as good as you say.

Take a picture of it! Lets see how "mint" it is and if it is probably $4,000 to 7,000

just got to look for one

Nice car but man I couldn't see paying more than 4k tops, and it's have to be dead on original and mint for me. I'm a cheap bastard?

KBB is a rip off... But that seems right for some reason :-/ I'd Say 5-7K If it is "MINT".

Hmm, I'm guessing around 5-7 grand for a NA with the low of miles. I sold a 90 TII with 39,000 original miles for 11 grand. I guess it all depends on the buyer.

oh hell ya, It was imported from Hawaii. It had leather interior and there wasn't a tear or stress mark anywhere on it. Since it was garaged it entire life the paint was factory perfect. Everything on it was stock including the rims. I even had the Dealer sticker with it. Everthing worked perfect... even the sunroof lol and they supposedly don't work from the factory lol. So ya, 11,000 was a steal for the buyer. Pictures? I'll look and see if I have any. I sold it localy so I didn't really take any for sale pictures but I'll look.
