how many TII's with safc + 720's?

i'm getting an safc this week and was wondering how many of you are running an safc + 720cc injectors? i was thinking it would be a little more cost effective to get some 680cc low impedence injectors but i'd have to wire in the resistors...

how much fuel (%) would you have to subract to get the 720cc's to where the 550's would be?

A -13% correction from 3800rpm upwards will give you the same mixtures as before. Of course having factory mixtures would defeat the pupose of having a fuel controller. Take it to the dyno for a more power-happy tune.

get yourself a wideband.....hopefully soon I'll be getting the plx and will be tuning my own car. It's a hole lot better than paying 125 per hour for a dyno.

I have the original SAFC + 720s in the secondaries.

I've got a lean spot at 3800, whree my wideband shows 13.0 on the A/F...not good. The rest of it is tuned to 11.0. If I were to try again, I'd use the SAFCII with the RTEK 1.5 chip. But the SAFC + RTEK 1.5 chip should be plenty fine.

EDIT: BTW, no subtractions here. On the low-end, it was 0, then went up to 21% where the lean spot was at 3k-4k, then back down to about +2 at redline.

Might as well go with 4 x 720 or 4 x 680 if you're going to be pluckin injectors anyways

GSRacer is right - I should've done that too. Oh well...but you can make do with 720s in the secondaries. Some people don't have the leanspot, but I do. Go figure.

Can the SAFC2 be safely installed without modifications to the engine.

Yea of course. It's all wiring. Ideally for a turbo you would want to use it with larger injectors but on an NA stock injectors are fine

Why are you getting a SAFC if you have a Haltech E6K?

why is a hybrid setup a waste of time? Thats the first time I"ve heard that before, lol. Interesting. 350-360 on a bnr stage III isn't a waste of time to me

Nothing wrong at all with a Hybrid. If you want something bigger then a BNR stage 3 (for a s4 turbo) thats more $$ and more tuning. Hybrids pwn also for the bang for the buck ;o.

haha opps sorry
well the hybrid is a s4/5 with to4 internals isnt it? if im wrong sorry i called it the hi flowed turbo but on this forum i ll call it the hybrid....because of the internal gate and for the amount of money spent on a a hybrid why not go say a turbo kit with ext wastegate and nice manifold?
and with hi flows/hybrids you have to run **** loads of boost to get em happy

but i guess everyone is different

a hiflow turbo making around 360hp? whats the setup?
