How many RPM is 84 mph?
If someone could help me with this, that would be really great. I got a ticket for doing 10 over in a 55, but the cop said I was doing 84, and I can't believe that.
I've got a base 87 NA with the 4 lug "phone dial" wheels, with the stock tire size (185/70HR14). This is in 5th gear, as well.
I have a feeling the equation will be something like cirumferece*gear ratio*RPM, and it would be in ft/min, but I could be totally wrong...
Any help would be great!! Thanks fellas!

Is your car "pull me over red" or "flashy graphics/open headers cuff me for racing" ??

Okay, I did some looking, and some working on this site's code, and 84 mph is 3400 RPM. Using the gear ratios and information provided from the scan of the brochure, I figured it out. That calculator is kinda helpful.
I also discovered that my speedometer is dead on at that speed/RPM.
