I thought s4's had 3 and s5's had two. Maybe that was just the n/a's though.
Edit: you're right, its just two.

So how would I be able to replace these cats? What size pipes would I need?

Oh and are there 3 or 2?

If I wanted to get all of them removed from an exhaust shop, how much would it cost?

N/A's have two precats and one main, TII's have one precat and one main.

Just buy turboback exhaust.. skip the "exhaust shop" bit.

In my area, the exhaust shop makes you remove your own. Literally, I paid them to let me cut off my own cat then have them weld a straight pipe in.

Wouldn't that be MUCH more pricey?

I plan to put on the JIC Twin Bullet exhaust, but I just want something to hold me over until then, I can't stand how much power I'm loosing to these damn cats and also the fact I can't hear my engine!!!

You can get a bonez downpipe that gets rid of the cats for less than 140 from www.rx7.com. You can do it all yourself - no welding or cutting needed.

http://www.speedmachineperformance.c...S+3103%2DRZ003

*Requires flange modification for use with stock main Cat.*

Will a test pipe just bolt on? What modification does it require?

Bang for the buck Bonez is the way to go. If you want the best then plunk your pennies in a jar for the RB turbo back.

Nearly any downpipe should fit the same. Just because it's "JDM" doesn't make it better, I see no reason to pay nearly 2x as much for a JIC or HKS part.
