How long to break in a fresh rebuild?

How long to break in a fresh rebuild?
I have a fresh rebuild from rotor sports racing.com and im about to drop it in.. how many miles should i put on it before i start to drive it harder?

2k miles...Don't get over 3500 change the oil at 500 and 1000??? check out kevin landers site for his break in procedure.

1000 miles is enough before you start driving it harder. But you probably wont see full compression till 3-4k miles on used housings. Depends how worn they are really.

like under 4k till 2000 miles, oil changes at 500 miles and 2k miles.
