I have teh factory alarm and another alarm on top of that.. obv its gonna drain the battery. but i cant start my car to charge it and i need to keep the alarm on.. Is there a battery charger is can use with the gel cell or once the battery is dead i have no choice to buy another one? thanks!

I use a normal charger with no problems. low amp is better. mine is around 6amp. I stick mine on every 1 or 2 weeks for 4-5 hours

I have a 2 amp charger I use, it adds about 20$ over 6 months worth of electricity and keep the battery both thawed and charged. I bought it for $50

will the solar chargers shut off when the battery gets to 12v, or will it keep overcharging it? that would be alot better just to leave that on then having to hook one up all the time

One trip to autozone and they charge it for free. Ive been up there more than once with my redtop, once after leaving the dome light on and once after letting the car sit for X amount of months. If you dont have an autozone around batteries plus charges for free too.
