In regards to the "uncontrolled boost," a MBC will not keep your boost down. You need a ported stock wastegate or an aftermarket one. The lowest boost you can run is that of the spring and releasing ability of the wastegate. I didn't notice if you have an aftermarket wastegate, but if you do, get a softer spring, maybe a .6 or .65 bar or so. Then you can add a little more with your MBC if you want to.

i hit 17 on the stock turbo and the stock TMIC the other day when the crappy sillycone hose came off my waste gate. it was about 40 degrese out so the ic was fine but damn did it pull hard!!!! i left it off and reggularry ran 15. its fast like that. i need a boost controler.

76 RX4 was getting 11lb ,this was a old corvair set up with a single side draft YH cab that I had put on back around 82 , now the same car I'm working on a twin set and when it lets lose there's no time to be watching gauges , so I real don't know

newbie quesion... how much can the enernals handle before going boom... how much should i boost with a tdo6, fmic, extra injectors, and afc? i'm at 15psi as of now...
