If you just have to replace the omp and not the lines it is pretty easy, i took off my air pump to change just the omp and it took about an hour.

Pretty easy. Make sure you have some extensions itll make things alot easier. Also you may want to consider changing the copper OMP gasket and all the copper orings, or are they crushwashers? either way you should consider it.

^ Like he said above, change the copper gasket and you might want to get new rubber O-rings as well. Also, please be very careful when retorquing the MOP back on there. Finger tighten all the bolts and then snug them with a rachet. I found out the hard way they are delicate.

Anyways, I'm surprised that your car has all those mods yet you can't figure out how to take the radiator off?

Well technically you are right. If you're talking about blocking it off and tieing it off to the side. I read this thread figuring his OMP went out since he wants to replace it, why else would he want to right? He's still vulnerable to the OMP failing and causing limp mode in the future even if he goes premix and blocks off the OMP.

Im suprised those guys doing the Rtek7 havent figured out how to bypass it yet. Im no expert but I solder-ed and epromed the Galant VR-4's ECU so I could do as I please. It would make peoples lives easier then fighting that OMP they hate so much.. Maybe if im bored with some free time. (hah, yeah right..)
Rebuilding an OMP is not that hard either, I watched a friend take care of it once and did it once myself. Seems to be working great so far. The rebuild parts are pretty cheap too.

To the poster: Do you know your OMP is dead? Tested as per FSM???? It could be one of those crappy crush washers leaking or the line breaking at the connector for the ring around the OMP bolts.

The series 4 pumps don't normally crap out as quickly as S5 ones from the pile of broken ones I saw at my friends shop.
