How good are you at measuring 30 times, and cutting like 300? it takes time, and lots of patients, it's really not that hard, just follow the manual, and take your time.

Well if you are bad at cutting I would cut 600 times, you have to cut the side seals down to about .0015" on each end of the corner seal, with a proper angle. It took me 5 weekends to rebuild mine, thats including waiting on parts and stuff, cleaning is the most time consuming part... remember cleanliness is next to godliness!

alright sounds good!, I plan to rebuild my turbo motor soon as well (welcome to come!), also thinking of what your gonna do as well but I wanted it as a spare motor, but from what I've read it's not a good idea to leave a motor alone for a long time...(I think) so I'll just wait for my current motor to pop

but I gotta build up my funds again haha, so that won't be for awhile

If you check the Archives, you will find several threads that go through the rebuild process.

Here are the direct links as copied from the FAQ:
Can I Rebuild My Rotary Engine? How Do I Rebuild My Rotary?
In general, anyone with a bit of mechanical skill and the ability to follow directions can successfully rebuild a rotary.
There are two archived topics which cover rebuilds and porting:

I did mine a couple of weekends ago for the first time, not very hard at all, I used the atkins rebuild video, its very easy if you can follow directions, just do it step by step. watch the video a couple of times before hand to familarize yourself with it.
