It is dumb. Use the Search function, and go back to school.

s-afc and richen up the top end a little. otherwise strip your emissions, TB mod, and make sure you have no exhaust leaks. doesn't happen that often on a properly running n/a.

My rx7 runs way to perfect.. I did replace all exhaust gaskets. and put a Pipe in to the stock mufflers. And it has a good low bass exhaust sound... Just gets no flamage :P

Dude... go somewhere with yourself. You're not gonna get any help by starting little kiddy flame wars.

I did a quick search on "backfire", getting 152 results, of which at least half are relevant to what you want.

Searching is common sense. No one wants to explain something when its already been covered 152 times.

All that being said, I'll go ahead and put on my own flamesuit.

Hold your car at redline. It'll eventually pop some sweet *** flames.

Seriously though. You wanna see some nice *** flames. Go haul *** WOT through 1st, 2nd, and about 1/2 of 3rd. Take it to like 5 or 6k and just drop off the gas. It'll **** a fireball the size of king kong. I have a blown out muffler so when I pop fireballs like that, it'll catch the grass on the side of the road on fire.

if you turbo.. while under load/boost and the car is hot, you can floor it full throttle, than pop the gas pedal real fast, the on/off throttle should spit fuel into the exhaust = big pop thats what i do. Or just heal/toe downshift before corner entry =D

If your turbo'd just disconnect the stock bov and get an atmospheric bov. Backfire every time you shift.

I'm not joking. Yours probably wont be as big since your on EFI but I have my car tuned MEGA rich because the last time it leaned out it popped.

This is my drivers side muffler:
<img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v112/Xenium911/DSC01117-1.jpg" width="640" height="480">

When I drive down a 4 lane divided highway, I can be in the lane closest to the median, dump a fireball in the way I described and see the flame almost touch the curb in the next lane over.

Not even joking, easily a good 5-7ft flame. How do you think that muffler got like that? Your not gonna do that reving it up in a parking lot.

Nice. Mine popped when I tried to drop the gas at the top of 2nd instead of 3rd. I honestly think I felt the car hop a little when it popped.
