I took a big flat head screwdriver and stuck it between the top of the glovebox and the dash and she popped right open.....in case anybody was wondering, it happened to be empty...oh, and the key doesnt push in, either....

I say bust the crap out of it and then go to a junkyard and get another one but change the lock system so that you have a key and a good locking system
