88 Rx7 Turbo Wreck!! Need Help

HEY GUYS,
IM NOT GOING TO SIT HERE AND PRETEND IM A CAR EXPERT CAUSE IM NOT. I BOUGHT AN 88 MAZDA RX7 TURBO BEFORE I GOT TO DEPLOYED TO AFGHANISTAN, AS I AM A SOLDIER IN US ARMY SPECIAL OPERATIONS. THE CAR HAS 81,000 MILES ON IT AND THE BODY WAS IN PERFECT SHAPE. BEFORE I LEFT HOME THOUGH I TOOK IF OFF THE ROAD ON THE WAY TO WORK IN THE MORNING. THEIR ARE TWO DEEP SCRATCHES ALL THE WAY DOWN THE DRIVERS SIDE, THE FRONT BUMPER COVER IS DEFINATELY GONE AND THE REAR BUMPER MAY NEED A COVER AND A REINFORCEMENT. I ALSO NEED TO GET THE DRIVER'S SIDE QUARTER PANEL REPLACED. THEIR IS NO FRAME DAMAGE, BUT THE TWO ESTIMATES I HAVE GOTTEN ARE AT $9000 AND $8500 TO REPAIR IT. I DON'T HAVE THAT KIND OF CASH BUT WOULD REALLY LIKE TO FIX THIS CAR UP, I FELL IN LOVE WITH THE WAY IT HANDLES THE ROAD BEFORE I LEFT. THE INTERNET CONNECTION HERE IN AFGHANISTAN IS EXTREMELY SLOW AND I CAN'T SURF THE WEB TRYING TO FIND GOOD SITES FOR PARTS. ANY HELP YOU GUYS CAN GIVE ME WITH INFO ON A GOOD SITE TO LOOK AT AND ALSO IF IT IS POSSIBLE I CAN DO SOME OF THIS WORK MYSELF TO LESSEN THE COST. ALSO I WOULD LIKE TO PUT A NEW EXHAUST SYSTEM AND MAYBEE A FEW OTHER THINGS INTO IT. WHAT WOULD BE THE CHEAPEST WAY TO QUICKLY INCREASE POWER?? THANKS AGAIN GUYS FOR ALL THE HELP

Buy a car with a blown motor for 200-1000 dollars and swap everything over. (IE motor/electronics/drivetrain)

Even if ya bought an non-turbo chassis with a blown engine, you obviously have all the stuff ya need to do the turbo swap. You'll be all set once you get home -- something (among many other things, I'm sure!) to look forward to.

The damage sounds fairly minor. You should be able to fix it yourself for 1K. Don't let some geek body shop guy scare you...
