How to get air pocket out of cooling system
1. Raise front of car so higher than rear.
2. Remove rad cap.
3. Heater: full blast, set to hot
4. fill with coolant.
5. run engine.
6. watch pretty bubbles pop and gurgle at radiator opening.
7. run for 15min at idle, top off as necesarry.
8. put cap on rad.
9. lower car

Look at the radiator where the upper hose connects to it... There should be a screw or **** there that you can loosen... Use that to let the air out.
I follow similar to what Jjcobm and Pele said. Sometimes squeezing the lower and upper radiator hoses with the filler cap off helps get bubbles out. Even if you don't get them the car should pull coolant in the system from the overflow bottle, so just make sure you keep an eye on it when you first drive it.
