Angry how to eliminate fuel/boost cut on 87 t2

so i think the cut off is kicking in... it doesnt have any power in boost but its full boost? if that makes since but i have one mod and its 3 inch ehaust from the factory downpipe back and auto meter boost gauge please help me im going insane... it could also be my secondaries since it does it in the 4k ish to redline area but still need to know if my exhaust is making it cut out and how to solve it if it is the problem

Fuel cut feels like you hit a wall under boost, you will be pulling, then BAM you car will feel like you let off the accelerator. What you are describing doesnt sound like fuel cut, sounds like you are just losing power over 4k, which could be clogged, old injectors. You can always pull them, and send them out to be cleaned.

If you need a FCD. If you can wait another week or so, I will be able to send you my old one (Ill be home from the middleeast). I no longer need it, and will sell it for 25 shipped.

get an FCD and if that doesn't fix it, then look into injectors, cats, etc

well if i get a fcd then will i over boost or does it just stop the fuel from being cut (duh) becuase i dont wanna get it and blow my motor. but it does feel like hitting a wall, but sometimes if i play with the throtle a bit it will get some power back for a split second and turbo 23 sure hit me up when you get back and let me know how to get you the money.
and im going to find another set of secondaries just so i can change them, oh and can i put like 620 cc or something a little bigger just so i can get a few more pounds of boost or will the ecu not run them well any way thx again all

You need:

FCD
720cc secondaries
Some way to control fuel (SAFC2)
PORTED WASTEGATE

If you do not like the amount of boost you get with the ported wastegate, get a boost controller.

You could use a few things in many combinations.

1. FCD, S-AFC
2. FCD, bigger secondaries, S-AFC
3. RTEK 1.5
4. RTEK 1.7, 720cc secondaries
5. RTEK 1.7, 720cc secondaries, S-AFC

Can we have your COMPLETE modification list? Boost readings? You say you have 3" exhaust from the stock downpipe...is the precat still there?

I would go with the RTEK 1.7, the 720cc secs, cleaned 550cc prims, Walbro with a rewire, manual boost controller set @ 10psi, and a S-AFC...oh and a wideband.

Hope that helps.

so there rtek 1.5 does stop the fuel cut? i know there is nothing wrong with ther turbo cuz it spools great and blows off fine ( factory recirculation valve,no blow off valve)but its got to be the timing which i checked and its fine or the secondaries are bad or fuel cut
