how-to? e fan with a/c. info needed

I have a fiero fan on my 87 7. I am using a thermostat from advanced auto. how do I wire the fan to come on when I turn on the ac. Right now power comes from battery through a realy and into the thermostat.

Any help or input would be greatly appreciated.

On my 90GXL, I spliced it into the black? wire of the AC relay which is about 3" from the driver headlight assm. It's among the clustered relays in protective boots right in front of the radiator. I was able to track it from the online fsm in fc3s.org
good luck.

location

bham al. Pinson. I have tried to find other 7 owners around, but most are not serious or either too young to hang with. I have an 87 na with many mods. currently in need of paint and a new front fender. some idiot at eastwood mall pulled a hit and run on me.

thanks felix, that helps. i am still confused though. i have the fiero fan with an adjustable temp switch. i am using a relay to supply power from the battery to the temp switch which in turn, sends power to the fan at the set temp. I need a way to override the temp switch when i turn on the ac. i am not sure that i can just add a + from the battery activated by a relay from the ac, into the + of the fan. i am afraid that two +'s will short out if the temp switch activates while the ac is on thus sending power to the fan also. i do all the wrenching on my car, but cant seem to figure this one out.

boosted rotors, i am internet illiterate, but i think aim means instant messaging. if so i dont because i use my computer at work and cannot enable the instant messaging. are u the same guy in vestavia with the 88 blue 7 for sale?
