How do you feel about these housings?

I'm on my first ever rebuild and I thought it'd be a good idea to get an outside opinion on whether or not these housings can be reused. Nothing on them catches fingernails, but I'm not sure what "totally worn out" or "trash" would look like.

I would use them.

Be sure to clean up that O-ring groove.

a drain pan with gunwash/laquer thinner.......with three more beside it...cleaned so you could eat out of them

wash the housing in one, then the other, then the other - you'll be surprised how much crap is left even after the second wash.

all of this after breaking the glaze on them, emery cloth should get the job done

TECHNICALLY speaking all of them should be lapped....
