You could. I could take it by the ecu for the reading as in the engine bay as the wire is shielded.

narrow band O2's are a joke. They don't provide any useful information.
Get a wideband, and you can see what the heck is going on Fuel wise.,.

thats what you are expected to see. you have a narrow band o2 sensor. a wideband o2 sensor reacts differently.

Perhaps better than nothing. But agreed that the primary thing a narrow band A/F gauge give is an entertaining light show

don't know why people bother with a guage for the narrowband O2 sensor, it's a ricer mod. the people who designed gauges to be sold should be ashamed of ripping people off with useless junk.

wth did you just say Demoe?

flames don't kill your o2 sensor.....

a wideband o2 sensor and a narrowband o2 sensor are 2 completely different things Narrowband is what is stock and feeds info to your computer when you are at a cruise or idle It's absolutely useless otherwise it tells your cars computer that the mix is stoich nothing more it can you you if you are rich (beyond 14.7) or leaner than that nothing more

A wideband is actually useful for tuning your car, there's no point in having it if your car is stock it can tell you exactly how rich you are useful when having a bigger turbo or higher than stock boost levels, or if you want to lean out your n/a for a bit better topend

a wide band oxygen sensor needs a controller.

and won't work with a 0-1volt narrowband guage unless it can emulate the signal like an LC-1 innovate does, some do, most do not. widebands have a 0-5 volt output signal.

I already know about most of what you guys just said I got flamed for it months ago when I installed mine before. I gave the guy a video so he can see what his car will do and he wont come on and ask the same question I did . You know how some people hate to search for the answer, unlike I search and if I cant find the answer that i need then I ask. @ Bwek I think I killed my 02 sensor It's been acting funny stuff that I went through when I had one of my Integras, and I dont hardily even get a show of lights on my gauge any more. I know the gauge is still hooked up and everything but it's not like it was acting like a kid at Chucky Cheese and bouncing all around....
this was my post about my 02 sensor I searched and found nothing beside how to install just tryin to help instead of being a dick like most on the forum, dont fault a person thats tryin to find out or help out cause our head aches gave us knowledge we have now!!!
