How do Rx7s shoot flames?

I have a 91 vert and an 88 TII. The TII is my project car and I wanted to know what I have to do to it to make it shoot flames from the exhaust pipes. I live in Kansas City, Kansas, so I have no emissions tests (goodbye cats). Anyone know a good combo of DPs and CBs to make some pretty flames.

Thanks,
-Kris-

Also note that I have removed the air pump, so no extra O2 is going to the exhaust. Can mine still shoot flames?

Thanks

It's really that simple? Do you have an air pump on yours? I wonder if that makes a difference?

BTW, what CBs (catbacks) do you have on your car? they look nice.

sweet!!

But will it work on a TII?-because the turbine sits in the exhaust flow, is it bad to shoot flames? or do the gases ignite after they reach the atmosphere?

A free flowing turbo back exhaust with no cats and run really rich. My T2 right now is running really rich and is shooting 5ft bright orange flames out both pipes that can easily be seen during the day. I don't even know it's happening because I get no backfire and nothing out of the ordinary. At night I can tell it is happening because the ditches light up a bright orange and flicker like my turn signals are on. My EGT's get up to around 900 degrees celcius and I am running really rich. I have a Wolf 3D and am still tuning it. Check out the video at:

P.S. Go down through the thread to get the correct place to download it from as the first download site listed does not work.

Rah. Screw that flames crap. Doesnt work. I run gutted cats into some generic mufflers at first. No flames, I spent almost 500 on RB mufflers, still no freaking flames. Arggg bastard.
