All you have to do is remove the c-clip holding the end of the wastegate actuator rod on the arm that moves the flap. You don't really need to wire it open, as the exhaust pressure will easily push the freely swinging flap open and hold it there.

Note that this won't necessarily lower boost, as the wastegate is wide open at full boost anyway. Boost will rise much more slowly but if you keep your foot down you will probably make full boost or close to it.

its pretty straight forward... 1/8 inch rod little below the turbo assy, closest to the fender wall.

look at your bottom pic. all the way to the right, you'll notice a plate. look at the back of it and there are bolts holding it on. take em off. you'll see the wastegate when you do that. look up ted's site www.fc3spro.com look up how to > port wastegate. it has all the pictures you need from there.

just remove that clip and use some bailing or safety wire to hold the wastegate open.

The twin scroll and the wastegate are totally different. The twin-scroll system does not control boost; the wastegate does. And S4's don't have a dual wastegate set-up.

No.Look at the wastegate arm, push a little c thingy out, then move the rod out, and you are done.
