how do i know T2 moter
I am about to buy a T2 motor from Canada that is from Japan. It has been rebuilt and comes with a t2 trany. Exactly what I want. But how do I know exactly what type of T2 it is. Didn’t they make different t2 motors, some are better than others. This is just what I have herd please let me know if I am wrong. Also what kind do I want and why. And what kind do I not wont. thanks

they are different between 86-88 and 89-91
what year you want would depend on what year the car is that it is going into. keeping it the same makes it eaiser. changing it makes it very hard.
