have someone turn on your lights, then pull the headlamp motor fuse when the lights are at the right height. Wont be able to put them down though.

turn the lights on. dump a bag of rice underneigh. now turn the lights off. since there is a pile of rice blocking it. it can only go down half way and stop

On a FC you can take out the retractor motor fuse in the fuse box on the driver side shock tower and raise and lower it manually, so I suppose the Miata should have something like that too. But the easier way to do it is to buy a kit. There was a thread on here about the sleepy headlight look not too long ago so if you use the search function I'm sure you can find it. The thread talks about how to make your own relay thingy ( I don't know all that electrical mumbojumbo ) to make them go up and down from within the passenger compartment, but I think a company called Pivot makes a kit that you can buy where you can adjust the height of the headlight. Sooner or later I'm just gonna buy the Pivot kit for my car. Hope this helps.

Or instead of blowing $80+ on a kit you can make your own...
