a combination of working as a comp tech and a well timed inheritance payed for my FC. I still get payed minimum wage considering the work i do. Oh well. Being 19 and being a technician sucks. Cause your word and experience don't mean jack.

Exclamation TSi BLOWS???????

There is a lot of BS on the net, don`t take the comment personal. Ad far as Conquests go, you must not have owned one I that had a little work done to it I see. The only reason I am selling mine is that I can`t justify owning two cars that I don`t really need. MY TSI is about %250 faster than my rx-7. Mainly because it`s a NA vert., but calling a TSI a tank is a little much. It is the only car I have owned that I don`t see other cars just like it on the road. They also came stock, fully flared, with loads of options, 16" 50 series tires, and a 2.6 litre motor that is almost bulletproof. Once you replace the tiny stock turbo with one more suited to that size engine they really FLY. But I have had mine for a long time and it`s time to get some cash together to fix up my RX-7 and do some other stuff so it has to go.

1 year outta SUNY Albany, workin at corp. headquarters for Olympus America...sure, the deskjob thing is BOOORINNNNNG but the $$ is more than enough to have basically re-done my FC in a year. This year = turbo kit and hello 12's...gonna need a new car after that though, 300 HP and my non-reclining Corbeau's don't equate for every day...can you say DSM? Goin for another GVR4.

I don't mean to nitpick but you have a TSI which is an NA vert? As far as I know TSI's are all AWD Turbo Hatchbacks.
If you replace the stock turbo on it it will really fly? If it's an NA then it has no "stock turbo"
And it's 250% faster than your RX-7? Something here doesn't add up.

I own 2 cars a CONQUEST TSi Turbo currently on e-bay for sale with an upgraded turbo. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...872286815&rd=1

.......................and now a NA 88 RX-7 convertible, the reason I have to sell the TSi, the TSi BTW is fast as a bat outta hell so I reallllllllly want to do some work to my rex soon.

i dunno... it's like... i'm living super-ghetto-style, but luckily, all the money i earn goes towards whatever i want, since my parents pay for tuition, room and board... it's just that i don't have a real job right now... i kind of buy/sell/trade computer parts to make a little money here and there...

I paid for mine by being a bus boy and now I am a barista; which is really just a fancy word for coffee server. Work at a coffee bar. Pays for the gas and insurance on the beater now and will pay for the RX-7 in a few months

I work at an arcade, which I guess is considered a "student job." I signed up for college and used all of the student financial aid money from the last three semesters to buy my FC. I didn't attend any classes and worked instead, so I lost my financial aid. In the end though it was worth it because I have an FC, which is beautiful and gets me around. My job hardly pays and insurance is so expensive in Miami that it's almost impossible to afford to pay insurance AND maintain a car here. I'm likely moving up to Wisconson at the end of the year due to how incredibly low the insurance rates there are. You don't even need anything except uninsured motorist, which is going to be great! Until then... I'll b slaving away to continue supporting my RX-7.
