You say it like we got M3's or some ****, personaly i feel that an FC is a low cost low problematic car, especialy if you own an N/A like me
Only of corse if you take care of your car and it was in good mechanicle condition to begin with

I dunno about you but I don't stumble apon a couple grand every now and again, do you?
The money has to be made somehow... weather it be through the form of payments of a loan or otherwise...
Unless you borrow from peter to pay paul

Yes, the market pays for my car goodies, which is why you have not seen a lot of progress on my 20B project lately. This is a bad time to spend lots of money on unnecessary things that depreciate so quickly.
My gas, insurance, and other necessary expenses are paid for by my tech job.

Damn, you're evil
hehe that means we load up csco at $2. Yeh I also look forward to a real crash and not deadcat bounces like what we've been having. Let's all hope that our markets won't end up like Nikkei (nice trading range though).

Most FC's arn't to outrageously priced, I mean they are getting older so you shouldn't end up paying to much for one. My number one cost is insurance, cause I've been in an accident.
All is paid for by working as a tech analyst now, but I did pay for my first TII in an interesting way.
I saved and bought a vert when I was 16, then when I was 18, I got the itch to buy a TII. Since all the money I made at work paid for things like gas, insurance, clothes, and going out; I had to come up with another way to by the TII and parts to mod it.
I actually started selling modified fuel pumps that stopped the common FC short start flooding problem online and on partstrader. I paid for the TII and a lot of its mods with money made selling the modded pumps. I got lucky that not many people knew how to make the fuel pump mod and everyone hated the ghetto *** fuel injection relay switches. I was picking up just about all the FC fuel pumps that could be found cheaply in DFW junk yards and online.
Its much more fun just having a good job that makes buying FC's pretty damn easy. A decent one can be had for one or two week's pay, and insurance is cheap even if you are under 25, because they are old and have such low value. (I'm 22.)

I own a business. Now I'm just trying to get out of old student debts and credit card debt. Then I'm looking at dumping a few grand on a full huge set of mods, having a guy at SDJ Motorsports build me the "best" motor I can make. Full computer, new turbo, maybe peripheral port, who knows..
I bus tables at a 5-star French restaurant. The money is amazing and after being open for only 2 weeks, I already have $700 in the bank that doesn't have to go towards any bills...just my RX-7.
