The race apex seals are not a good idea. They generally don't seal at all at lower rpms, making low-rpm drivability and idle very poor. A street car needs to be able to seal below 4000 (or higher) rpms.

As long as we are going for ultimate, ceramic apex seals are your best bet, but FAR more expensive.
Otherwise, stick with the stock seals.

Also, from what i have read carbon seals are designed to disinagrate when your motor deatonates that way you dont chew up your rotors or housings

I can't think of any reason why you'd need anything more than a 2 peice steel. But to each their own, if you're keeping the 6 ports, get some pineapple sleeves, port your intakes, and so forth.

Dood comon nick arent you going to be driving this to work and back. I dont think it will idle under 1500 pluss taking off from a stop is near impossile. Dont forget the sound it makes. Pretty loud for cops. Do a mild mild port and do that new secret porting job like jeff did. Dont say anything about it though ( thats what he told us anyways )...

Dood use my 2piece seal. The motor will be myne with your rotors and side housing so you can report. Everything else will be the same. Trust me its the cheapest best way to go pluss you will still hit 9.5k rpms im sure.

king kong port is the ultimate port. its so wide you don't even have a rotor housing left.
