how big is the AFM opening?

Sorry my car isn't here right now. But I was wondering what size the opening is where the TID connects to the AFM. Just trying to figure out what size silicone hose to get. Thanks.

I think it's about 2.75 inches or so.

3" on the outside so you need 3" silicon (which is 3" on the inside)

(S5 anyways)

****. Damn. Uh, I need to make an intake just to get my car home. I think I may only have a 2.5" hose for it. Damnit.

I had a hell of a time making a TID. My turbo opening is like 2.75" and the AFM is 3" ID not OD. Still didn't get the TID on the turbo good enough so I don't get enough boost. Gotta wait for light though.

I'm using a 3" to 2.75" reducer and a 3" silicon coupler on my TID

I had to fiddle with it quite a bit to get it over the AFM (very tight) on a side note it's a BNR stg 3. I think on a stock turbo you'd need a 3" to 2.5" reducer.

hope that helps.
