How badly?

How badly does a welded differential effect our cars that will be a street/track car? Will it be hard to drive the car normally? Thought about going this route temporarily until I can afford a limited slip.

It amazes me how some one may ask a question here & all they get is **** on! Yes typically a search is the first step, but maybe he came up with nothing. So with that said since you all seem to know the answer or know where to find the answer, why not just help him out. Isn't that one of the reasons people go to forums to get help in the form of answers, ideas & conversation.

Its fine. Just do it and be more cautious of your throttle control in the rain and so forth.

Don't do it, it's a PITA to drive, especially a slow speeds, and neat when you try to back into a parking spot. Anytime you deviate from a straight line, you'll have a tire screaming/hopping.

I hope you dont crash when the road gets slippery...

Its not something you want to drive daily, even if you are waiting to get a new lsd unit to put in.

Parallel parking with tires chirping and hopping is pretty bad lol.

because i saw this same question asked just last night? it couldn't be beyond page 2.

if people won't spend more than 5 minutes looking for info then they don't deserve help from anyone until they help themselves first. if they asked more in depth questions then i may be a little less of a dick about it but there is no excuse for this.

it also clutters up the forums, wasting mine and others time where i spend reading this when it could have been answered without a thread.

if you think i am not extremely helpful then you really do not know me at all and can't comment like you do.

First off not going to start any argument, because it's pointless. So with that said never did I say you were being a dick. Now if someone decides to post before putting in the work, yes it is annoying. I'm just saying maybe shoot him the link to the other post since it's familar to you. Some how you missed the point of my post. Hey man it's cool you expressed your point & I shared mine. This is where I might sound like a dick, but for you to think that you can tell me how I may comment is pure crazy. You say that his post clutters up things, but you continued the situation & answered nothing, so you added to what you call clutter. I'm sure that you may be a very insightful & helpful person, but in this case clearly you weren't. Thus my comment being very true. I will now say I did not meant to offend anyone, but maybe find help for others. Maybe we can share info on other topics, so thanks for the time & be safe.
