i was wondering if you could use a honda civic pulsation damper on the 86 rx7 mine was leaking and i really dont want to banjo bolt it and i was quoted 155 from the mazda dealership and i really dont want to spend that i can go to the junk yard and grab like 6 dampers off civics and integras....is the thread the same 1.25...will it actually fit and work properly?

They will screw in, but I don't think it works. A ex-honda friend tried to use one on an 87. I can't remember why, but he ended up using a banjo bolt.

A new PD will most likely last for the rest of the vehicles life, why not just buy a new one and be done with it? The benefits outweigh the cost in my opinion.

I just had to purchase a new one. It's expensive but paying $150 is a lot cheaper than having to buy a new car because the PD leaks and your vehicle catches fire

I've seen s5 rails on s4 motors before. They have a different pd. Might be able to find one cheap.
