I just built mine a few days ago. I recommend wiring it up with two four wire plugs, one male and one female, so you will not have to splice into your engine harness.

Does anybody have the list of radio shack parts? For the one at http://teamfc3s.org/info/articles/fcd/diy_fcd.htm
Because i cannot find the equivilants and i really want to do it? if anybody has the list that they used it would be greatly apreciated! Pm me if you have it?

AFAIK, radio shack doesn't sell 'em all. Somewhere like digikey does, though.

A few things like the cermet trimmer, and the dual op-amp cannot be purchased through Shady-O-Rack. You must buy them through a company like (for example) Digikey. If you're going to buy any components through Digikey, et. al., then you might as well buy them all.

*sigh* Seriously, man - if you couldn't even comprehend my previous post, don't try to build your own FCD. Just pay someone else to do it for you.

I have 4 electronics courses under my belt i am 18 and one of them is microelectronic busway repair... meaning i fix motherboards that are broke! so dude if it electronic then i can make it! THank you thaugh! You helped a little!Hehe

I had no experience with soldering on boards and it's not rocket science. It takes some time to properly layout the components.
