You may have been so busy 'unbuilding' the Suburu chassis from around your new master cylinder booster that you have failed to notice the following: Someone has built a V-* around your Mazda...
I'm just sayin'...
And installed into the FD...
The brace is also visible in these shots...
The setup is superb.
A worthy upgrade from the 929/Integra brakes, IMO (I'm now hunting one for my FC).
Pedal is firm, responsive and surprisingly easy to modulate.
I had been afraid of ON/OFF brakes with this much larger MC but that is not the case.
Paired with the brace, I don't see how you could do much better with stock calipers/rotors.
When I do find a candidtae for my FC, I'll also be trying the 929 proportioning valve with residual pressure valves.
Dunno how that will work but it's the last variation I can think to try.

Hi Clokker, I'm looking to fit a Tilton brake proportioning valve in place of the stock proportioning valve. You spoke about these in this thread, so I'm wondering if you have experience with these. Their literature says it has ports with M10x1.0-6H, 74° included angle at base - would you know whether the stock fittings will seal ok on this? Thanks.

It's not car related but, I recently scored a 60" x 36" x 1 3/4" thick hard maple butcher block workbench top for $30. Used of course, but still sweet. It can be turned over or re-finished, I'm turning it over.

so, no holy grail found yet... was hoping, as i am going to the junkyard tomorrow, and figured i would pick up a brake booster/master combo while i was there. looking for the easiest possible swap, which seems like a suburu 1in set up?

pulled a Subaru 1in MC and booster.... couldnt find a plug for the fourth port. guess ill be trying the cut down bolt method.
so connect the lines and go? if i read that correctly, you used just the MC from the subaru... so if im using both little adjustment should be required for MC to Booster?
