Starter relay? Take a stick and tap it, it's a little cylinder on the starter.

you mean the starter solonoid? its brand new just replaced it 2 months ago. . .
And its not something to do with the starter because whenever i try to fire it the whole car dies but if i remove the ground and put it back on it lets me "try again"

What's the voltage the battery's showing (check it with a meter). Should be 12-13vdc. Sounds like weak battery or a bad starter/solenoid to me.

my safc is showing it at 11.6 volts which i know is weak but it still should roll it over and not completely crash like this right? i would have thought it would have been one of those 2 as well but the starter went bad before and it didnt cause the car to die everytime i tried to crank it

Yeah, "solenoid" is what I meant.

What you are describing sounds like corrosion on the battery terminals. Even if they look fine you should remave the cables and clean the connections. Also 11.6 is marginal voltage, you should charge your battery or use jumper cables to try and start it.
