Hmm.............power loss?

heres the deal...
i have a

1990 GXL
1988 Jspec T2 engine/trans
Intake
Exhaust
MBC
Koyo w/ efan
No emissions

i have boost set to about 7.5-8psi. but it feels really slow. like, theres no way im putting down 200hp slow. Honestly, for how light of a car it is, it feels like maybe 130-150hp. i have yet to do a compression test, too scared lol. i have no cooling isuse, it doesnt smoke, but my turbo leaks a little oil in the compressor side.

My QUESTION is, could i be driving on a blown apex all this time? thats the only thing i can come up with, compression loss for the power loss... any idea?

hey whats up, its jerrell. it sounds like the 7 is upset. well check this out. its runnin rich so u might have to adjust the lean and rich screw all the way to lean, and if it keeps turning replace it. then ull need to pull off the ic to get to the vac lines, that might be one of the reasons that the mpg is so bad. its not manny vac lines, and there eazy to replace. i had to put liquid gasket on the nipples and then i zip tied them to keep them from leaking. that hesitation at 3800 is a loose ground from either the motor to tranny, the motor to the chassis, or the tranny to the chassis. last of all that cat should come off. if u do all that ur boost will jump up to about 9psi and then turn it up a pound, and then it will feel better than it did when u first got it. ull be throwin nice fire *****, i did with stock piping. with all that said good luck, give me a call if u need any help, be safe , later. lol i cant believe no one answered ur question.
